The other day a friend and I were discussing which was better to own: a toaster or a toaster oven. Toasters, being specialized appliances, tend to do a really good job at making toast. Toaster ovens however, sometimes fall short. But when it comes to practicality, the toaster oven is perfect for a multitude of tasks. In the end there is really no debate, as the only answer is simply to have one of each. While that may seem a bit overkill to some, it certainly isn't if the appliance you choose is more oven than toaster.

The Cadco Commercial Convection Oven isn't a toaster oven at all. But as second oven, the convenience mirrors that of its smaller (and somewhat removed) cousins. Operating by convection, the fan works in conjunction with the patented baffle system that provides advanced multi-area airflow. The three shelves create ample area for cooking a variety of items, while the cool-touch reinforced door is designed to withstand more than 60,000 openings and closings.

Available in either half sheet pan or quarter sheet pan size, this is a true oven. It's powerful and designed to professional standards. The tabletop design allows this to be a great second option for the cook who is looking for a convenient appliance to cook and reheat food. Just don't call it a toaster oven.
