While it was generally slim pickings for those wishing to flip iPhones for a profit over the past few days (including a would-be bulk buyer who paid $800 to buy a place at the front of the line to find purchases limited to one per customer), it appears that one lucky vendor had a worthwhile weekend on eBay.

According to the Financial Times, eBay Marketplace Research reported that a single iPhone had changed hands for a staggering $12,500. I just hope it was an 8GB model.
