Device embeds your iPhone or iPod Touch into your shirt or other piece of clothing for a geeky, but useful, fashion accessory.

Look, ma, no hands! Also, no tape, no straps, no Velcro, and no magnets. A new Kickstarter project is raising funds for a device called The Move that magically attaches your iPhone or iPod Touch to your clothing.

The idea behind The Move is one of those why-didn't-I-think-of-that inventions. Place The Move behind your clothes. Set your iPhone on the outside of your clothes and push it into place. It acts like a hidden case that embeds the iPhone snugly into your shirt.

Yes, that's an iPhone on his chest. The Move

The creators envision customers using The Move to film hands-free sports action sequences and capture video at parties. It can be attached to a sleeve for use in the kitchen or when using GPS in the car. Stick it on your shoulder to comply with hands-free phone laws when you're driving.

The Move does scrunch up the fabric on your clothes a bit, so you might not want to use it with your $20,000 gown for the Oscars. Most shirts or tees will do just fine.

At last count, The Move had 54 backers and had raised $1,875 of the $25,000 target. Pledges start at $2 with the standard $25 pledge netting you The Move when it comes out in production.

I'm wondering how this might work out for an iPad. Imagine having that honking thing clinging to your shirt front. It could become the ultimate Apple fan fashion statement.
