Film-maker Freddie Wong has created a death-defying high-speed police chase video — using remote-controlled (RC) cars.

We all have our favourite car-chase scene from films. Mine's from Blues Brothers, but this new Need for Speed promotional video from Freddie Wong is now in the top 10, even if it's just for attention to detail; the sets alone are amazing.

Driving the cars are Wong himself, his collaborator Brandon Laatsch, professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and rapper Chris "Big Black" Boykin, with sound design by Byron Bullock, who worked on Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

We never knew that RC cars could be so high octane. Head on over to YouTube to check out something by the same crew called "Cardboard Need for Speed".
