The urge to get up and go can hit anytime. Get up and go where, you may ask? It could be a park, the beach, or camping that calls to us, but when it does, the lure can be irresistible. Chances are, there's a spot nearby that you would like to go to. All that is required to make a day trip happen is to get up and go. Well, that and a little food and beverage for the destination.

When packing the cooler and bags with drinks and food it may see like there's room for one more item. So we stuff that last extra can or sandwich in there and go along our merry way. However, that doesn't work quite so well when it comes to glass containers.

Going where wine bottles and other liquid-filled glass containers shouldn't or can't go is the Corkcicle Vinnebago Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle ($29.99). The handy canteen holds 25 ounces (about the amount in a typical wine bottle) and can keep fluids either cold or hot. Featuring a sleek design with triple-walled stainless-steel construction, the wine canteen won't break when thrown in a cooler or backpack. Now the only thing left is to decide where to go.
