Can I get an "amen" for on the 10 reasons why high-definition DVD formats have already failed? To summarize a few of those reasons: false starts, the folly of a format war, the dubious "leap forward" of the technology, studio foot-dragging and price-gouging, online video and IPTV, and of course, the incessant naysaying of complainers in the technology media. Oh. Does he mean me? Well, at least he's doing it, too. A good read that might save you $1,000 on that silly new Samsung player.
