Jeff looks a little different on this morning's episode of The 404 podcast, doesn't he? Initial reports tell us that the half-moon forming on Jeff's face is actually a smile, which probably has to do with Ilya Kovalchuk staying with the New Jersey Devils this season.
The LA Kings, New York Islanders, the NJ Devils, and a random team in Russia all grabbed for Kovalchuk when he became a free agent on July 1, but only the Devils were able to secure the hockey star for a reported 100 million bucks over the next 17 years, which proves that a simple Google search can make a hockey know-nothing sound like Mike Emrick.
We're all back after an exhausting, hot weekend, and even though I wasn't able to see Chris Nolan's "Inception," the film still generated $60.4 million over its opening weekend, a success considering its mysterious plotline and unrevealing trailer. Last Friday Apple made a rather unexciting announcement to iPhone 4 owners that it will offer and refunds to owners who already purchased one. for its initial response, which many took for dismissive unconcern, and things are only getting worse as competitors like RIM are taking offense at Apple's misleading comments that all handsets suffer from antenna issues.
If you have an Apple iPhone 4, we want to hear what you think about the announcement. Is the free iPhone bumper enough, or does it feel like a cheap consolation prize? Sound off in the comments!
