Watch this: Ep. 619: Where we're nothing but a pyramid scheme

To help celebrate Friday, we bring in our good buddy Tim Geisenheimer to end the week on a good note. Of course the big news we talk about right at the top of the show is the unprecedented announcement of LeBron James' decision to sign with the Miami Heat.

Being an actual fan of the NBA, Tim helps us break down what this means for basketball and how technology played a role in the ultimate decision.

Staying in the vein of sports-related news, we'll watch an interesting video of Paul, the octopus who is current six-for-six at predicting World Cup soccer games. This wise-old eight-legged sea creature already has a better record at predicting the future than our own Wilson Tang does, so maybe we'll use Paul for all of our segments from now on.

Finally, we turn today's show into a listener forum as we read a healthy amount of e-mails and hear some theme song submissions.

Again, check out 404 friend Laurie Pila Horowitz's food festival Meatopia in New York City. For 404 listeners, we've got a special treat for you! Enter in promo code 404BBQ at the festival's page, and get 25 percent off tickets. As usual, to leave a callback or a message, call us! The number is 1-866-404-CNET (2638).
