Take 2 on our comments system

We're going back to our traditional comment system for Deep Tech, but keeping a taste of Echo's social media flavor.

Today, you'll notice some changes--again!--to the comment system below Deep Tech.

After testing a new comment system called Echo since November, we've gone back to our regular comment style because it was very clear to us that's what you wanted . So comment away, and let's have those lively discussions.

Still, we're not giving up on Echo. We think there's a lot of value to bringing all your social media discussions about our stories to one place. So you'll notice at the bottom of the page that the Echo commentary remains alive and well. Now you have a choice: A more traditional way to discuss our posts and Echo's more cutting-edge look at what's being said out in the social media sphere.
