T-Mobile's Legere: Donald Trump is absurd, he mocked my hair

Technically Incorrect offers a slightly twisted take on the tech that's taken over our lives.

Hair, in general, is overrated.

It can often appear in inconvenient places and make otherwise attractive body parts seem ugly.

It does, though stir emotions. Just ask T-Mobile CEO John Legere.

"Do you know, he made fun of my hair?" he sniffed during a CNN interview on Thursday. Who did? Why, the great orator and level-headed presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Should you be unaware, Legere's hair does offer a certain reminiscence of times gone by, when glam rock seemed both novel and uplifting. There again, Trump's hair can sometimes seem like the nesting place for a particularly boisterous family of starlings.

This didn't stop him criticizing Legere's coiffe on Twitter. It didn't stop Legere mocking him back with a weave of the hand and a blowdry of sarcasm.

Trump, after all, has been saying not-too-nice things about Mexican immigrants of late. Legere insisted that his brand would enable immigrants to call home to Mexico -- or, indeed, Canada -- without a roaming fee, as he announced today.

However, he couldn't let go of Trump's hair insult -- or, indeed, of the hairy prospect of Trump becoming president.

Asked why he sarcastically calls Trump "President Trump," he said: "It's absurd that he's even running for president. It's absurd that he believes he could even be a presidential candidate. He's the gift that won't stop giving."

He added that Trump's candidacy was "the best thing that ever happened to every comedian on the planet."

Legere is convinced that Trump has too many family members and sycophants telling him what he wants to hear. He contrasted this with the voices he has to hear all day -- those of his customers.

I wonder how long it will be before Legere receives another attempt at wit on Twitter, courtesy of President Trump.

I see him tempting Legere to be his running mate. Every great man needs a hair apparent.
