T-Mobile plans at least 25 4G devices in 2011
T-Mobile talks 4G at CES 2011 and promises more devices and faster speeds.
T-Mobile's focus at CES 2011 wasn't about phones, but rather about tablets and its 4G network.
At its press conference, the carrier introduced another tablet to its lineup, the Dell Streak 7, which joins the G-Slate by LG.
Though no new phones were announced, the carrier said it plans to launch at least 25 new 4G devices in 2011. The company promised devices capable of peak download speeds of 21Mbps in the first half of the year and smartphones capable of 42Mbps in the second half of the year.
Currently, T-Mobile's 4G network reaches around 200 million people in 100 major metropolitan markets.
