Though AT&T took center stage with Microsoft to launch Windows Phone 7, T-Mobile got in on the action with the introduction of its first Windows Phone 7 device, the HTC HD7.

Available in mid-November--date and pricing were not given at this time--the HD7 brings the Windows Phone experience to an Evo-like package that includes a 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen and a kickstand. According to T-Mobile, the HD7 will offer the largest display on any Windows Phone 7 smartphone in the U.S.

Taking advantage of that fact, T-Mobile is bundling a number of entertainment apps on the HD7, including Netflix, Slacker Radio, and T-Mobile TV, which will offer live and on-demand content from ABC News, Fox Sports, and PBS Kids.

It will also be the first device to come with T-Mobile's Family Room application for sharing calendar events, notes, and photos with a user-defined group of family members.

The HD7 features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 16GB of internal memory, and a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and HD video capture. Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), 3G, and GPS will all be onboard.

In addition to the HD7, T-Mobile revealed that it will offer a second Windows Phone 7 device from Dell called the Venue Pro.

The Dell Venue Pro will have a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 4.1-inch touch screen, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and a 5-megapixel camera. The smartphone is also expected to be available for the holidays.
