T-Mobile became the first US carrier to sell Google's Lollipop-powered HTC Nexus 9 tablet with LTE.

Offered through its website starting Friday, the 8.9-inch tablet carries a $600 all-in price tag. Alternatively, qualified customers can opt to spread payments out for $24.99 per month over two years.

As the first tablet to run Android 5.0 out of the box, the Nexus 9 boasts a 64-bit Nvidia Tegra K1 processor, 32GB of storage, and a 6,700mAh battery.

T-Mobile's Nexus 9 is 4G LTE-equipped and comes with 200MB of data for free for the life of the tablet. Subscribers looking for more can add the tablet to a Simple Choice plan for $10 per month.
