T-Mobile CEO teases Uncarrier 4 event, gets punchy with AT&T

Carrier chief John Legere calls out AT&T's CEO in his tweet revealing a fourth Uncarrier event.

Taking public swipes at archrival AT&T has become so second-nature to T-Mobile CEO John Legere, he's now folding it into company news announcements.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Legere announced to customers T-Mobile's plans for a fourth "Uncarrier" event. T-Mobile has used these events to reveal the kind of industry-challenging plans that has reenergized the brand's appeal and successfully drawn customers from Verizon and AT&T into T-Mobile's fold .

Legere uses the hashtag #Randall to further engage AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson in an one-sided Twitter battle waged over customer loyalty .

Legere's tweet doesn't pinpoint the time frame for such an event, but certainly not until early 2014. The Consumer Electronics Show, which takes place January 6-10, would certainly be an ideal location to hold such an announcement. Indeed, T-Mobile has typically hosted evening events at CES before -- potshots lobbed at AT&T and all.
