Fans of the blockbuster sci-fi movie "Guardians of the Galaxy" already know that Marvel's intergalactic misfits have their own Lego set and a movie trailer made in Lego, but it's even cooler to see fans build super-sized versions of Rocket Raccoon and Groot -- brick by brick.

In this time-lapse video, originally shot at this year's San Diego Conic-Con International and the European movie premiere, eight pro-builders construct Rocket and Groot entirely from Lego pieces. The whole process took 300 hours, but you can see the laborious event in a little over two minutes.
