Remember YouTube user Dan Newbie, who played the Super Mario Bros. theme song on 48 wine glasses filled with water? Well, the homage now has a Mexican contender, but this time mariachi-style.

A video posted on YouTube a few days ago caused a sensation on Mexico's social networks and soon crossed the border. The video shows a mariachi band playing the famous song during a wedding, reportedly after the bride asked for it as a gift for her new husband.

Awwww... how romantic!
