Success with USB Cable PCMCIA USB PC card adapter
Bob Gore purchased USB Cable's USB PC card adapter for his Wall St. PowerBook. He writes: "Using Apple's driver software from their latest 1.3f9 USB DDK, my PowerBook mounts the card, identifies it simply as 'USB,' and thus far, I've gotten it to work with my Epson Stylus 740, QPS Que! CD-RW drive (w/Toast 3.8), an Agfa SnapScan 1212u scanner, Microsoft's Sidewinder Freestyle Pro game controller (with GameSprockets-aware apps), and my Belkin 3-button mouse (w/o button support)." Note: Using Apple's USB 1.2 drivers resulted in a crash at startup, even with extensions off, 'whereupon the card had to be hand-ejected before the 'book would reboot successfully."
