Ladies, if you've ever found headphones overbearing or unfashionable, the new line of headphones by Swapsets is for you.

Tripling as a fashion accessory, headphones and optional headset, these nifty little inventions work like a traditional headband, worn behind your ears to push back hair, and are available in a multitude of fabrics, varying from wool to cotton to silk. The array of styles ranges from polka dots and stripes to Indian-inspired paisleys, allowing a woman to make a fashion statement and complement any outfit (the Swapsets site even has a tool for mixing and matching fabrics so you can come up with just the right look). Dangles, which hang from the bottom of the headband, are an optional accessory that look like earrings, to add a little flare.

These inventions are ideal for the woman on the go, because they are completely hands-free, and according to the company, they are gaining a celebrity following, having been included in the 2006 MTV Movie Awards' talent gift basket. You can purchase the items online or by phone, with headbands ranging from $25-$30, headphones at $34, headsets at $30 and a combination pack at $95. While these accessories aren't exactly cheap, it might be worth it to splurge a bit. The best part? You can be a nerd--yes, you can make business calls and listen to your iPod--without looking like one. Thanks to designer Steffi Thomas, who realized that men aren't the only ones who need to multitask.
