StuffIt Expander 5.1 due this week

Aladdin Systems has announced StuffIt Expander 5.1. It is expected to ship February 5. StuffIt Expander 5.1 adds Zip and .uu decoding. Aladdin claims it is up to twice as fast at expanding files than version 5.0. When it is released, you can get it at Aladdin's web site. I will also have it here at the Download Library.

Update: Aladdin states that DropStuff 5.1 should be out soon, but there is no "firm ship date" as yet. It will still include the StuffIt Engine, which will add further decompression options to Expander. Meanwhile, StuffIt Deluxe 5.0.2 users are encouraged to get Expander 5.1 [there is not a more general StuffIt Deluxe 5.1 update announced at this time].
