StuffIt 6.0 TM symbol glitches

Jaddie Dodd, in a previously posted item, wrote: "The control panel that was installed with StuffIt Deluxe 5.5 remained after updating to StuffIt Deluxe 6..." Although Aladdin contended that the old files should get removed, Jaddie found this was not so. Jaddie attributed the problem, at least in part, to the fact that "The True Finder Integration control panel that was installed with StuffIt Deluxe 5.5 had the trademark symbol (TM) after its name. The control panel installed by StuffIt Deluxe 6 did not have any symbols after its name." Another reader noted a related TM symbol problem: "Expander 5.5 has a TM symbol in its name, Expander 6 does not. This can result in programs failing to locate Expander when needed to compress files. Adding a TM to the Expander 6 name fixes this. Rebuilding the desktop may also work.
