You'd have to be a diehard Star Wars fan with deep pockets to embark on a home theater project as ambitious as this one in a Honolulu beach house. The above 14x20-foot entertainment room has a sci-fi theme based on the Hollywood blockbuster, complete with life-size talking R2-D2 and C-3PO props, fiber optics to emulate a star field effect in the galaxy, and a motorized door entrance.

Hardware-wise, a suite of Onkyo Integra and Lexicon components are housed within custom racks that rotate 180 degrees for easy system maintenance. Other highlights of the A/V ensemble include a Runco beamer, as well as a 107-inch Stewart Filmscreen projection screen. Equipment, room lighting, and climate control are all managed through a centralized Crestron home automation system.

There's no indication on pricing, but we reckon the entire customized setup cost the owner hundreds of thousands.
