SPSS 10 doesn't run under Classic: a workaround

A reader reports that SPSS 10 cannot run under Mac OS X Classic mode. It reports an error message at launch: "OpenGL extensions not found. Please reinstall SPSS for Macintosh of enable these extensions in the Extensions Manager Control Panel." Seth Friedman writes: "Even if the OpenGL extensions are installed properly in the Classic system folder, the program refuses to run. The workaround is to boot back into Mac OS 9.1, where SPSS 10 will work just fine."
