NFL Mobile brings football to your phone Sprint

If you think that "football is life," Sprint is making it much easier to get your fix at all times. On Monday, the carrier and the National Football League released a new application that brings the pigskin right to your cell phone.

NFL Mobile Live will deliver the usual stats and scores, but it goes a bit further than previous football apps by offering radio broadcasts of every game for the 2008 season and video broadcasts for eight Thursday night games starting November 6. NFL Mobile Live will also let NFL.com fantasy owners monitor a player's status while on the go.

The application is available on all handsets that support Sprint's Power Vision service including the new Motorola Razr VE20. It will be free for Sprint " simply everything plan ," while anyone else will need to add a $15-per-month data pack.
