Speed Doubler 8.1.1 is out; Finder crashes possible

Connectix Corporation has released Speed Doubler 8.1.1. It's a free update for Speed Doubler 8 owners. It "adds compatibility with the upcoming Mac OS 8.5 including rewritten PowerPC native Keyboard Power and improved compatibility with numerous third party products."

Finder crashes? I can't say this is a trend as yet, but we already have two reports of the same problem after installing Speed Doubler 8.1.1:

Joe Nowak: "I experienced many Finder crashes and type 10 errors. I went back to SD 8.1 and things have stabilized."

Don Kaiser: "I immediately had Finder crashes. Despite rebuilding the desktop (with extensions off) and deleting the Finder Preferences, these persisted. Disabling the Speed Doubler extension and control panel removed the problem."
