Apple has done something that, if not unexpected, is certainly against type: it has released two different models of the iPhone.

This means that for the first time, Apple is in the position of having a flagship phone that isn't just the most recent version of iPhone.

The iPhone 5s is clearly the top dog in the handset duet revealed in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, with its powerful A7-processor and fingerprint reader, but how does it stack up to the flagship offerings from rivals Samsung and HTC?

We'll have a comparison of costs on plan when the local carriers reveal their pricing. At the moment, we've listed the outright purchase RRPs at launch.
