Sony is now selling an unlocked version of its Xperia Z1 LTE smartphone in the US to the tune of $620.

Up for sale on the Sony Store Web site, the phone shows up in black and purple, though only the black model is currently available. The purple edition is back-ordered with an expected ship date of April 30, according to Sony.

The non-LTE flavor of the Z1 sells for $550 unlocked and comes in a choice of black, white, or purple, though the black version is currently out of stock.

The Xperia Z1 LTE is packed with a 5-inch full HD screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera. Sony also touts the phone as waterproof and dust-resistant.
