Meet the Cyber-shot H55, the latest in Sony's line of compact digital cameras. This stylish little number is designed to take quality pictures and video with zero fuss.

The H55 is capable of shooting video in 720p HD, and Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation has been ramped up with something called Active Mode, which claims to improve stabilisation ten times over, so you can finally wave goodbye to the agony that is having to stop walking to take pictures.

You'll also get a 14.1-megapixel sensor teamed up with a 10x optical zoom. Throw in face detection, a nifty auto mode and a 76mm (3-inch) screen, and you've got a camera totally geared towards taking high-quality photos with minimum effort on the users part.

The Cyber-shot H55 is due out in March, with prices yet to be announced. We'll be getting a hands-on look at this compact beauty just as soon as possible, so stay tuned.
