SoftWindows 98 mouse conflict?

Don Richards writes: "After upgrading my SoftWindows 95 and installing Windows 98 I lost my mouse. A message appeared in SoftWindows that said: 'This version of SoftWindows is not compatible.... vmouse.vxd (insignia) V0.00.' I also am unable to access the internal CD with SoftWindows."

Marcel Vlad reports getting almost the exact same message: "When running Win 98 for the first time I received the message 'the Insignia Mouse Driver (vmouse.vxd v.1.00) is not compatible with this version of Windows.' The only way I managed to control the mouse in Win98 was in Safe Mode (with the option 'emulate pc mouse')." Marcel suspects the problem occurs mainly on PowerBook G3 series.
