Well, that happened fast. One moment we were surrounded by backyard barbecues and pleasant meals by the pool. But then, seemingly overnight, it got cold; gone are the pool parties, absent are the invites to grill food on a fire, retired are the trips to the park with a picnic basket. But not to worry, the sun will rise again, the warm weather will return, and we will all find cause to revisit the great outdoors. But until that time, it's best to take it slow. Slow cooker, that is.

The Frigidaire Professional 7-Quart Programmable Slow Cooker is an easy way to heat up the dinner table during slow winter months. The large-capacity slow cooker is roomy enough for a wide variety of meals that are easy to make. In addition to standard settings of low, medium, and high, the countertop appliance expands the menu by also including one-touch options for soup, buffet, and keep warm.

The ability to relax while food automatically simmers supplies warmth beyond what the kitchen normally provides. The programmable slow cooker lets users customize the time, allowing for no-hassle meal preparation without the need to interfere with the cooking. The slow cooker then automatically switches over to the keep-warm setting for up to 3 hours--but just how fast they go by is another story entirely.
