Die-hard sports fans and TV junkies will have another option for watching their favorite home team game or TV show while on the road.

On Thursday, Sling Media, the maker of the Slingbox, a device that allows people to watch their own cable or satellite programming on a mobile phone or laptop, said it will work on the Ultra-Mobile PC (a.k.a.Origami) from Microsoft. This portable computer, which is the size of a portable game console, runs the Microsoft Windows XP operating system and allows mobile users to play back music and video, as well as other computer tasks, such as e-mailing and searching on the Internet.
