Owners of the latest iPhone or iPad can now see their Skype video callers in high definition.

Released Monday, Skype version 4.10 for iOS adds supports for HD video for both the iPhone 5 and the fourth-generation iPad. The latest update also helps international callers. A drop-down menu allows you to pick a specific country code rather than having to manually enter it.

The usual improvements to call quality and stability are part of the package as well.

Skype's Windows Phone app garnered support for HD video calls in March.
