SimpleEdit 3.4.3 is out; Type 2 crash problem noted

SimpleEdit 3.4.3 "is a more full featured replacement to Apple's SimpleText, including features such as handling more than 32K of text, multiple levels of undo/redo, rectangular selection, search & replace."

Tom Carstensen (of Evatac Enterprises) writes: "After our release of SimpleEdit 3.4.3, we've had a few reports of type 2 crashes when opening a document via double clicking on it, where opening that same document via the Open command in the File menu works just fine. We are working on tracking down this problem, but as of yet we are unable to reproduce it in house. If anyone else is experiencing this problem we'd like to hear from you in hopes of tracking down this bug. Also: the debug build of SimpleEdit 3.4.3 does not exhibit this crash."
