Silverlining 6.1.1 is coming; should fix a scanner conflict

Michael Lach received the following note from LaCie Tech Support in regards to a problem he had with Silverlining Pro 6.1, a PB 3400c, a large SCSI chain, and a UMAX Astra 1220s scanner: "We have found a conflict between certain scanner software and our Silverlining application. I've included a release of our drivers which correct a problem with UMAX scanners; this fix may help. Enclosed is: new Silverlining Pro application."

The new application was a final candidate (fc) version of Silverlining Pro 6.1.1. No release date has been announced.

Update: A reader reports: "LaCie FireWire drives ship already with SilverLining Pro 6.2. We have had Silverlining Pro 6.1.1 for a while now." Version 6.1 still seems to be the latest version available online.
