Short Take: Yahoo adds college research feature

Net giant Yahoo has formed an alliance with Peterson's Education Center, a provider of college information and online college applications, for Yahoo College Search, a new resource for researching U.S. accredited colleges and universities. In the new service, which will be located in the directory's Education area, users can search by the school's name or features such as location, major, "wiredness," or enrollment, the companies said.
