Short Take: Webvan enhances software for delivery systems

Online grocer Webvan has licensed logistical systems from software maker Descartes Systems Group to help plan routes and delivery schedules when Webvan expands its home-delivery business across the country later this year, the company announced today. Foster City, California-based Webvan already employs the same software in its San Francisco operations.
