Short Take: Sneak peek of Internet2

On Wednesday, the public can get its first look at Internet2, an effort to create advanced online applications and band together more than 100 universities over a reliable high-speed network. Demonstrations of telemedicine, digital libraries, data mining, and virtual laboratories will be given by the University Corporation for Advanced Internet Development and the National Science Foundation at the Capitol Hill Hyatt Regency in Washington.
