Internet consultancy Proxicom reported third-quarter earnings above Street estimates. For the quarter, Reston, Virginia-based Proxicom posted net income $1.5 million, or 5 cents per share, compared to a net loss of $20.9 million, or $1.36 a share in the same period a year earlier. First Call projected the company to earn 3 cents a share. Revenues for the quarter totaled $23.6 million, an 87 percent increase from $12.6 million in its year-ago period.
