Short take: new engineering server software

Engineering software maker Bentley Systems debuted its new ModelServer Discovery, a product which allows planners, engineers and managers to navigate their geoengineering projects from a Web browser. The new server software distributes feature and attribute data and allows querying from a standard browser, such as Netscape's Navigator and Microsoft's Internet Explorer. ModelServer will be delivered to beta sites later this year, and prices will range from $9,950 to $17,950, depending on the number of CPU servers.
