Short Take: Netscape releases extranet directory modules

Netscape Communications will release its PerLDAP software modules for adding directory services to extranets. PerLDAP is an application of the Lightweig ht Directory Access Protocol using the Perl scripting language. Source code for PerLDAP will be posted free at Netscape's Mozilla.org free source code site, and at the Comprehensive Perl Archive Network site for Perl developers.
