Short Take: MS rolls out intranet building kit

Microsoft has rolled out its Office 60 Minute Intranet Kit 2.0, which allows users to create intranet applications. The kit includes 12 prebuilt intranet applications, or users can customize their own intranets with seven drag-and-drop modules. The package builds on Microsoft's Office 98 desktop application suite and FrontPage 98 Web site creation and management tool. Users of Office 97 and FrontPage 98 Beta can download a free kit from Microsoft's Web site.
