Cataloger J.Crew has opened a Web storefront for clothing and accessories. The first edition carries summer merchandise, with one item carried exclusively online; the site will be updated seasonally. Customers can make online purchases from J.Crew print catalogs, order a free catalog subscription, and contact customer service. Software Engines created the site, which links to J.Crew's existing order and inventory systems.
