Short Take: IPrint.com lays off 12 to cut costs

Online printer IPrint.com let go 12 of its 198 employees last week, or about 6 percent of its work force, to reduce its operating expenses, the company said. Redwood, Calif.-based iPrint.com chief executive Royal Farrof said the company has hired five new employees this week.
