Short Take: EPA honors Compaq

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency named Compaq Computer "Energy Star PC Partner of the Year" for the second year in a row. The EPA cited Compaq's use of energy-efficient features and the company's adherence to and promotion of the EPA's Energy Star conservation program.
