Short Take: CyberSource's "virtual data centers" go global

E-commerce service provider has established more than a dozen "virtual data centers" outside the United States. It will offer local support for multicurrency payment processing, tax calculations, global digital rights management, credit card fraud screening, export control management, and secure electronic distribution. Working through ISPs, the virtual data centers will be set up in Asia, Australia, Brazil, Europe, Russia, Israel, and Canada by October.
