Short Take: Concentric revenue jumps

Internet Protocol-based network service provider Concentric Network saw its first-quarter revenue grow 80 percent, to $16.5 million, including revenue from its recent acquisition of Internex. A year ago, the company reported revenue of $9.2 million. The net loss for the current quarter was $20.2 million, or $1.43 per share, compared with a loss, on a pro-forma basis, of $14.7 million, or $2.17 per share, a year ago.
