Short Take: Compaq fills exec positions
Compaq Computer today filled two of many open executive management positions. Flint Brent, director of application management for BMC Software and a former IBM executive, will assume the position of vice president of E-Commerce. Compaq also promoted William "Bo" McBee from a quality control management position to be vice president of Quality and Customer Satisfaction. Compaq created both positions in a June 17 reorganization.
