CommerceNet has named former Hewlett-Packard executive Randall C. Whiting to the post of president and chief executive officer. Whiting, who spent 15 years at HP, is an electronic commerce expert who served as CommerceNet's vice president of e-commerce and held a post on the company's board prior to the promotion. The organization also said it has promoted Stacey Bressler to vice president of marketing and member services.
