Check Point Software Technologies filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission to publicly offer 5.5 million shares of common stock, of which 800,000 are to be sold by Check Point and 4.7 million are to be sold by shareholders. CheckPoint will offer 4.4 million shares in the United States and 1.1 million in a concurrent international offering. The company will use the proceeds for general operating expenses.
