Short Take: Borland updates database tool

Borland International today said a new release of its dBase database development tool will ship later this quarter. The update, Visual dBase 7 for Windows 95 and NT, adds a high-performance compiler, better connectivity to databases, and object-oriented component support. Pricing starts at $349.95. Users of previous versions of dBase can upgrade to dBase 7 for $199.95.
