Short Take: Boole updates network tools

Boole and Babbage announced a series of extensions to its service and systems management tools that allow network managers to build policy-based administration schemes and view network status from a Web browser or Microsoft Windows NT workstation. The Explorer family of tools ties into current products like Command/Post, Max/Enterprise, SpaceView, and Command MQ. The four applications are available immediately. Explorer tools for a MainView mainframe product will roll out in the second quarter of next year.
